Nader Shah: A Sword in the Heart of Empires

Known as the “Napoleon of Persia,” Nader Shah carved his legacy through conquest and power. His fierce spirit and military genius cemented his place in history, making him a symbol of Persia’s resilience and might.

Nader Shah Afshar, before his coronation as Shah, was known as Nader Qoli. A member of the Afshar tribe from Khorasan, he reigned as Shah of Iran from 1736 to 1747, founding the Afsharid dynasty. Considered one of Iran's most renowned post-Islamic monarchs, Nader Shah is celebrated for his military prowess and his role in restoring Iran to its former glory. His conquests, which included the expulsion of the Afghans, Ottomans, and Russians, and the capture of Delhi and Turkestan, solidified his reputation as a formidable leader. Nader Shah is also remembered for his efforts to reestablish Iran's historical boundaries and his ambitious naval projects.
